Nearly 200 Angola residents and others interested in the hidden history of the Angola Horror and the ongoing movement to honor the victims of the 1867 disaster with designated memorials turned out for a free lecture May 22 at the New Angola Theatre on Main Street. The event was co-sponsored by AHHA, Town of Evans Historical Society, Village of Angola, New Angola Theatre and the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Vogel presents some of the new research she has assembled about The Horror.
